You’ve told us the health and well-being of ALL women matters, which is why we want to take this opportunity to highlight our work with HERproject.
HERproject is a collaborative initiative that supports and empowers low-income women working in global supply chains. It brings positive changes to the daily lives of these women by providing workplace-based trainings on health, financial inclusion, and gender equality.
Since it was created in 2007, HERproject has worked in more than 900 workplaces across 14 countries, and has increased the well-being, confidence, and economic potential of more than 1,000,000 women.
AEO launched our partnership with HERproject in 2013 and so far, has brought the program to 17 factories in Cambodia, Bangladesh, Vietnam, and India, reaching more than 15,000 women workers!
And this is just the beginning! We’re continuing to roll out the program to more factories to empower more and more women. With HERproject, we’re not just investing in women around the world, we’re investing in their families and communities.
