Happy Pride Month, AE fam! We’re happy to announce that the AE Foundation™ is partnering with the Aerie Real Foundation to support It Gets Better and It Gets Better Canada.

Since 2017, AE, Aerie, and our customers have contributed more than $4.8 million to It Gets Better across the U.S. and Canada, helping support its mission to uplift, empower, and connect lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer youth around the globe. This year, the organization will receive $160k in grants from the AE and Aerie Real Foundations™.

The AE and Aerie Real Foundations™ are awarding $125k in the U.S. and $35k CAD in Canada.

Support from AE and Aerie funds the Changemakers program in the U.S., which empowers LGBTQ+ youth to make their schools and communities more open and inclusive. This program promotes representation, acceptance and safe spaces for LGBTQIA+ people throughout the country.

In Canada, foundation support will fund the True Voices project, which aims to empower and inspire two-spirit, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer youth across Canada through youth-led school-based projects across the country.
