Meet Our AE Foundation™ Community Grant Winners (Fall 2026)

Thanks to AE and our generous customers, the AE Foundation™ is proud to share that we recently awarded $500,000  in AE Foundation™ Community Grants to 67 organizations across the United States and Canada that are working to support the mental health & well-being of young people to empower authenticity and a better future for all.

1N5 (Madison, AL) supports youth mental health through education, peer leadership, and suicide prevention programs. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand mental wellness education and help more students build resilience and seek support.

The Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation (Calgary, AB) supports initiatives that advance child health, research, and family-centred care. Funding from the AE Foundation will help advance initiatives that improve health outcomes and support children and families.

Asian Health Coalition (Highland, CA) provides safe, supportive spaces where students can connect and access mental health support. Funding from the AE Foundation will help expand Chill Rooms and school-based services for young people.

BeMorr Society (Abbotsford, BC) supports children, youth, and young adults facing mental health challenges by removing financial barriers to counselling and therapeutic support.Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to timely, compassionate mental health support through the Youth Mental Wellness Program.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cornwall & District (Cornwall, ON) creates and supports mentoring relationships that help children and youth build confidence, resilience, and a sense of belonging. Funding from the AE Foundation will support mentor recruitment, training, program materials, and coordination to expand access to programs that strengthen youth mental well-being.

Born This Way Foundation (New York, NY) teaches young people how to recognize and respond to mental health challenges. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to free mental health education and support skills.

Camp Maple Leaf (Oakville, ON) provides inclusive overnight camp experiences that support children and youth facing unique life challenges. Funding from the AE Foundation will support the 2027 summer program, fostering belonging, resilience, and confidence.

Casa Valentina (Miami, FL) supports at-risk and former foster youth through housing, life skills, and individualized support. Funding from the AE Foundation will strengthen mental health and wellness supports that build coping skills, self-esteem, and resilience.

CentreCanada Newcomer Services Society (New Westminster, BC) helps young people build confidence, connection, and a sense of belonging. Funding from the AE Foundation will support youth mentorship, leadership, and personal development through the RISE Initiative.

Children and Youth Cabinet of Rhode Island (Providence, RI) supports communities of color through youth-led, evidence-based programs. Funding from the AE Foundation will support culturally grounded youth wellness sessions focused on connection, confidence, and self-expression.

Colorado Youth for a Change (Denver, CO) expands mental health support and builds connection and belonging for high school students. Funding from the AE Foundation will strengthen youth mental health support and help students build resilience and connection.

Crotched Mountain Foundation and CMF Kids (Manchester, NH) provides youth mental health training to schools and community partners. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand free Youth Mental Health First Aid training across New Hampshire.

The Defensive Line (Coppell, TX) promotes youth mental health and suicide prevention through education, advocacy, and community engagement. Funding from the AE Foundation will support youth leadership and mental wellness programs that build resilience, connection, and belonging.

The Elizabeth Youth Theater Ensemble (Elizabeth, NJ) uses arts-based programs to help young people build resilience, leadership, and self-expression. Funding from the AE Foundation will support free theater, wellness, and creative activities that strengthen mental health and connection.

Eustress, Inc. (Windsor, NC) promotes mental health awareness and support, with a focus on reducing stigma in the Black community. Funding from the AE Foundation will equip young people with tools to manage depression, anxiety, and grief.

Explora (Albuquerque, NM) provides hands-on learning and creative experiences that help young people build skills and confidence. Funding from the AE Foundation will support free creative workshops that foster self-expression, connection, and resilience.

First Responder Trauma Services (Windsor, CO) provides specialized behavioral health care for first responders. Funding from the AE Foundation will support early intervention, counseling, and resilience education for young responders.

Friends For Life Co. (Memphis, TN) program combines mental health support and HIV prevention for youth. Funding from the AE Foundation will help youth build life skills and strengthen their well-being.

Grand River Friendship Society (Baden, ON) helps young people build confidence, relationships, and a sense of belonging through education, mentorship, and community programs. Funding from the AE Foundation will support youth mental wellness workshops, mentorship, peer connection, and creative activities.

Highlanders Boxing Club Iron Youth Services (Highland, CA) helps youth build resilience, emotional skills, and confidence through mentorship and peer engagement. Funding from the AE Foundation will support mentorship and skill-building activities that strengthen youth well-being and connection.

ICPYAS (Carmel, IN) provides youth with education on child abuse prevention, suicide prevention, digital safety, and mental wellness. Funding from the AE Foundation will sustain prevention programs that build resilience, healthy relationships, and help-seeking skills.

KnowResolve (Clinton Township, MI) provides free creative mental health programs that help youth process emotions and build resilience. Funding from the AE Foundation will support accessible workshops, school sessions, and camps for teens.

Mankind Project USA (Chicago, IL) provides mentorship, emotional wellness education, and peer support for boys and young men. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand youth programs, strengthen mentor training, and reduce barriers to access.

Mental Health Advocates of Western New York (Buffalo, NY) provides peer-led mental health support, advocacy, and connection for young people. Funding from the AE Foundation will support trained youth peer advocates who provide trusted support, resources, and encouragement.

Music Haven Inc. (New Haven, CT) provides tuition-free music education and youth development programs that help young people thrive. Funding from the AE Foundation will support wellness workshops, mentorship, and music-based activities that build resilience and belonging.

NAMI Southwest Washington (Vancouver, WA) supports mental health awareness, education, and resources for young people and families across southwest Washington. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand youth programs that promote mental health and well-being in schools.

New Pathways for Youth (Phoenix, AZ) supports Phoenix-area youth through long-term mentoring and holistic support. Funding from the AE Foundation will help youth access mental health support and build tools for well-being.

Open Up (Pittsburgh, PA) creates inclusive spaces that build well-being through movement, mindfulness, and connection. Funding from the AE Foundation will support Wellness Ambassadors in building emotional regulation, resilience, and peer leadership skills.

Salt & Light Community Center (Auburn, ME) supports youth and families through mentoring, wellness, leadership, and community programs. Funding from the AE Foundation will support youth mentoring and wellness activities that build resilience, coping skills, and connection.

Solace Healing Arts (Sioux Falls, SD) provides trauma-informed movement, healing arts, and mental health services to at-risk youth. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand services for youth in residential and juvenile justice settings.

South Asian Canadians Health & Social Services (Brampton, ON) provides culturally responsive mental health and community support programs. Funding from the AE Foundation will support youth resilience workshops, peer support, leadership, and wellness activities.

The Wendell Scott Foundation (Danville, VA) empowers underrepresented youth through STEM education, mentorship, and social-emotional learning.Funding from the AE Foundation will support mental health circles, coping workshops, and wellness resources for teens.

The Women’s Center (Vienna, VA) provides accessible, trauma-informed mental health counseling to young people in the Washington, DC region.Funding from the AE Foundation will provide reduced-fee counseling to help young people build resilience and emotional well-being.

Youth Central Society (Calgary, AB) helps youth build leadership, resilience, belonging, and inclusion through community volunteering. Funding from the AE Foundation will support youth volunteer activities that strengthen mental health, connection, and resilience.

AIDS United (Phoenix, AZ) advances HIV prevention, treatment, and advocacy, with a focus on supporting communities most affected by the epidemic. Funding from the AE Foundation will support young transgender leaders of color through programs that promote mental health, leadership, and personal growth.

Allegheny Health Network (Phoenix, AZ)  provides school-based mental health support and safe spaces where students can connect, talk, and build resilience. Funding from the AE Foundation will help expand these services for students in the Clairton City School District.

Behind It All Foundation (Santa Monica, CA) provides teens with accessible mental health education, coaching, and wellness support. Funding from the AE Foundation will help more youth build coping skills, resilience, and confidence.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Oregon (Bend, OR) connects young people with caring adult mentors to build confidence, resilience, and belonging. Funding from the AE Foundation will support mentoring and activities that strengthen youth mental health and well-being.

Black People Die By Suicide Too (Odenton, MD) creates culturally affirming spaces for Black people to build connections and support their mental well-being. Funding from the AE Foundation will support peer groups, workshops, and community activities for Black youth and young adults.

The BRIG Co. (Shaw, MS) provides free educational, supportive, and empowering services to youth and young adults in the Mississippi Delta. Funding from the AE Foundation will help sustain accessible programs that strengthen and encourage young people.

CAP Mental Health (Quebec, PQ) supports young caregivers aged 12 to 29 who accompany someone living with a mental health issue by providing non-judgmental support and reducing isolation. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand outreach and support activities, helping more young caregivers access resources that promote their well-being and development.

The Center Project (Columbia, MO) provides affirming social and mental health programs for LGBTQIA+ youth. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand free mental health, mentorship, and identity-affirming programs.

Chaldean Community Foundation (Sterling Heights, MI) supports refugee and immigrant youth through mentorship, mental health education, and creative activities. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand culturally responsive mental health support and reduce stigma among youth and families.

Children’s Bureau of New Orleans (New Orleans, LA) provides evidence-based mental health services for children and families affected by trauma, grief, and loss. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to trauma-informed care for students in local schools.

Completely KIDS (Omaha, NE) provides education, enrichment, and mental health services to underserved youth and families. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to culturally responsive therapy and wellness activities for youth.

Crow Comedy Inc. (Santa Monica, CA) uses comedy and storytelling to help young people build confidence, creativity, and community. Funding from the AE Foundation will reduce barriers to camp and support inclusive opportunities for youth to build resilience and self-expression.

Dieppe Youth House (Dieppe, NB) provides inclusive programs that help young people build confidence, resilience, and connection. Funding from the AE Foundation will support wellness activities that reduce isolation and strengthen belonging.

Equitable Solutions for the Indigenous (Honolulu, HI) strengthens Native communities through cultural education and youth development. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand Aoga Samoa, helping Samoan youth build cultural connection, confidence, and belonging.

Everybody Matters (Phoenix, AZ) provides school-based mental health services that help K–12 students build resilience and coping skills. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to trauma-informed, play-based support for students.

Fernie Youth Services (Scarborough, ON) supports at-risk and justice-involved youth through housing, reintegration, employment, and holistic services. Funding from the AE Foundation will strengthen Mind & Motion and expand access to mental health and wellness support.

ForKids (Chesapeake, VA) supports high school students through resilience and mental wellness programs. Funding from the AE Foundation will help teens overcome barriers and build healthier, more hopeful futures.

Girl Get Up Society (Columbia, SC) improves mental health access for girls and women through culturally responsive, trauma-informed support. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand counseling and early-intervention programs for adolescent girls.

Her Story (Goldens Bridge, NY) supports teen girls’ mental health through peer-led social media education and community programs. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand workshops and peer clubs that build healthy boundaries, skills, and connection.

I Am Human Foundation (Ellenwood, GA) provides free, community-based wellness programs that support young people’s mental health. Funding from the AE Foundation will support Healing Beyond Words and expand trauma-informed wellness programs for youth.

Kids to Love Foundation (Madison, AL) supports young people affected by trauma and instability through foster care, housing, education, and other services. Funding from the AE Foundation will provide trauma-responsive counseling and crisis support for youth.

Leave Out Violence Society (LOVE) (Vancouver, BC) supports marginalized youth through creative arts, mentorship, leadership, and violence prevention programs. Funding from the AE Foundation will support weekly programs, meals, art supplies, and wellness workshops that foster connection and well-being.

Mental Health Collaborative (Hopkinton, MA) provides mental health education and awareness programs that build resilient communities. Funding from the AE Foundation will support mental health literacy training for students, educators, and caregivers.

NAMI Kansas, Inc. (Topeka, KS) supports college students through peer-led mental health education, advocacy, and connection. Funding from the AE Foundation will strengthen campus peer support and train students as mental health advocates.

Neu-Life Community Development (Milwaukee, WI) helps Milwaukee youth build skills, confidence, and healthy futures.Funding from the AE Foundation will support the Mental Health Youth Summit and its wellness and resilience activities.

Northern Lights Educational Services (Kanata, ON) helps young people learn, connect, and build confidence through mentorship and community programs. Funding from the AE Foundation will support youth mentorship, leadership, recreation, and well-being activities.

Planting People Growing Justice Leadership Institute (Saint Paul, MN) empowers youth through literacy, creativity, leadership, and community engagement. Funding from the AE Foundation will support safe spaces and creative activities that build confidence, resilience, and connection.

The SOAR Foundation (Dublin, OH) empowers underserved youth through emotional intelligence, leadership, and personal development programs. Funding from the AE Foundation will support workshops that build self-confidence, stress management, and communication skills.

SoulMedic Media Group (Fort Wayne, IN) creates open conversations about mental health and reduces stigma around seeking support. Funding from the AE Foundation will bring mental health and hope-focused programming to up to 3,000 students.

Trans Wellness Ontario (Windsor, ON) provides free counselling and peer support to support the well-being of 2SLGBTQIA+ individuals and their families. Funding from the AE Foundation will support accessible mental health and wellness services.

Tuff Therapeutic Riding Foundation (Loretto, ON) supports youth mental health through therapeutic riding and horsemanship. Funding from the AE Foundation will provide 2SLGBTQ+ youth with accessible mental health and wellness support.

Wilmington Alliance (Wilmington, DE) provides youth programs that support mental health, self-esteem, and well-being.Funding from the AE Foundation will support arts-based wellness, mental health education, and leadership activities for at-risk youth.
