Meet Our AE Foundation™ Community Grant Winners (Spring 2026)

Thanks to AE and our generous customers, the AE Foundation™ is proud to share that we recently awarded $530,500 in AE Foundation™ Community Grants to 66 organizations across the United States and Canada that are working to support the mental health & well-being of young people to empower authenticity and a better future for all.

A.G. Gaston Boys & Girls Club (Birmingham, AL) provides youth development and mental health support to underserved youth. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand these programs to better equip students with the skills and resilience to succeed.

Bainbridge Youth Services (Bainbridge Island, WA) provides free, accessible, trauma-informed mental health therapy to youth facing challenges like anxiety, depression, and trauma. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand clinical leadership and capacity to ensure more young people receive consistent, high-quality care.

Blueprint 58 (Atlanta, GA) provides community-based workforce, leadership, mentorship, and embedded mental health support to help young people build resilience and succeed. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to counseling, trauma-informed programming, and supportive services that strengthen youth stability and long-term opportunity.

Bridges of Norman (Norman, OK) supports youth without stable family support through therapy, wellness activities, and mentorship to build resilience and healthy coping skills. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to trauma-informed care, fitness and outdoor programming, and early mental health support for vulnerable young people.

Canine Inspired Change (Saint Paul, MN) supports at-risk youth through therapy dog–assisted programming that builds emotional regulation, communication skills, and confidence in partnership with schools and community organizations. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand small-group, trauma-informed sessions that use therapy dogs and mentorship to strengthen youth mental health, engagement, and long-term resilience.

CrossPurpose (Denver, CO)supports young adults ages 18–24 with counseling, identity development, and career training during the transition into adulthood. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand integrated mental health and workforce services that build emotional stability, confidence, and long-term economic resilience.

Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services (Culver City, CA) provides youth ages 15–25 with drop-in mental health care, basic needs support, and wraparound services during the transition to adulthood. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to trauma-informed counseling, housing and life skills support, and youth-centered care that builds stability, resilience, and long-term well-being.

Foundation for Foster Children, Inc. (Winter Park, FL) provides long-term, trauma-informed support for foster youth ages 0–24 through enrichment, education, and life skills programs that promote stability and well-being. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand consistent mental health support, academic coaching, and mentorship to help foster youth heal, succeed in school, and transition into stable adulthood.

Harland Community 4 Youth & Families (Salt Lake City, UT) provides culturally responsive after-school programs for immigrant, refugee, and marginalized youth that support mental health, social-emotional learning, and belonging. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand workshops, mentorship, and wellness programming that build resilience, identity development, and emotional well-being for youth.


 Holly’s House (Evansville, IN) provides trauma-informed crisis intervention and early mental health support for children ages 7–17 who are victims of abuse or violent crime. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to immediate, short-term trauma therapy to reduce PTSD risk and connect children to timely, life-saving mental health care.

Huckleberry House (Columbus, OH) provides 24/7 crisis shelter, counseling, and basic needs support for youth ages 12–17 experiencing homelessness or family crisis. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand trauma-informed shelter services, mental health care, and case management to help youth achieve safety, stability, and long-term independence.


Inner City Youth Group (Eastpointe, MI) provides trauma-informed after-school and summer programming that supports youth mental health, social-emotional learning, and enrichment. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to counseling support, mentorship, and wellness programming that build resilience, emotional regulation, and positive youth development.

It’s On Us (Carol Stream, IL) develops LGBTQ+ inclusive sexual violence prevention programs, peer education, and survivor support resources for college students nationwide. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand LGBTQ+-specific prevention training, peer support networks, and survivor resources to improve access to culturally responsive mental health and healing support on campuses.

Kentucky Youth Advocates (Louisville, KY)engages youth advocates to analyze mental health data, share lived experiences, and inform policymakers across the Commonwealth. Funding from the AE Foundation will support youth-led training, storytelling, and advocacy efforts to improve mental health awareness and drive data-informed policy solutions.

Lander Free Medical Clinic (Lander, WY)addresses gaps in mental health access by helping cover the cost of services for young adults who cannot yet use their Behavioral Health Medicaid. Funding from the AE Foundation will bridge care gaps by supporting immediate access to therapy and stabilizing young people while they wait for providers to accept Medicaid coverage.

Lights Camera Discover (Tempe, AZ) is a youth-led creative storytelling program that supports teen mental health through filmmaking, media production, and mentorship that builds connection, confidence, and self-expression. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to media arts programming, mentorship, and youth-led storytelling projects that strengthen emotional well-being, resilience, and positive identity development.

Mosaic Family Services (Dallas, TX) provides trauma-informed counseling and support services for children, youth, and families affected by abuse and family violence. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to individual, family, group, and virtual therapy that helps survivors heal from trauma, build coping skills, and achieve stability.

Northern Nishnawbe Education Council (Thunder Bay, CA-ON)supports First Nation youth by providing mentorship, cultural connection, and mental health and leadership support. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand orientation programming that builds confidence, reduces isolation, and promotes inclusion, well-being, and cultural pride for Indigenous youth.

Oakland Genesis (Oakland, CA) provides soccer-based programming that integrates academics, counseling, mentorship, and college and career support. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to mental health counseling, academic enrichment, and wraparound services that build confidence, emotional well-being, and long-term opportunity.

Oklahoma Faith Network (Oklahoma City, OK)provides community-based suicide prevention education and mental health support for youth, families, and trusted adults. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand workshops, youth engagement, and early intervention efforts that reduce stigma, strengthen support networks, and improve access to life-saving mental health resources.

Operation Second Chance (Germantown, MD) supports military-connected youth who are caregiving for injured or ill service members and facing elevated mental health risks. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to therapy support, peer connection, and wellness programming that reduce isolation and strengthen resilience and emotional well-being.

Pathfinders (Milwaukee, WI) provides low-barrier, youth-centered mental health services for homeless and housing-insecure youth ages 11–25. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to on-site and outreach-based therapy, crisis support, and wraparound services that help youth stabilize, heal from trauma, and improve long-term well-being.

Philadelphia Chinatown Development Corporation (Philadelphia, PA) provides culturally and linguistically responsive mental health and social-emotional learning support for Asian immigrant youth facing barriers such as language access, stigma, and intergenerational trauma. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand workshops, one-on-one support, and peer wellness resources that strengthen coping skills, emotional well-being, and access to culturally competent mental health care.

Project Unloaded Inc (Chicago, IL) addresses the link between youth mental health and firearm suicide by using peer-driven, digital outreach to educate and engage young people. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand the campaign’s social media content, peer toolkits, and youth-led resources to increase awareness, strengthen prevention, and promote safer decision-making.

Raphael House of San Francisco, Inc. (San Francisco, CA) supports children experiencing homelessness by providing integrated academic, emotional, and social support that promotes stability, resilience, and healthy development. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand enrichment programming, tutoring, and social-emotional learning services that help youth strengthen coping skills, improve academic outcomes, and build long-term emotional well-being.

Rural Health Network of SCNY, Inc. (Binghamton, NY) provides rural youth and their caregivers with evidence-based mental health education to improve awareness, reduce stigma, and strengthen early identification of mental health challenges. Funding from the AE Foundation will support delivery of youth and adult training programs that build community-wide resilience, improve help-seeking behaviors, and increase access to support in areas with limited mental health services.

Tanner Health Foundation (Carrollton, GA) creates student wellness rooms in schools that provide safe, calming spaces where youth can self-regulate, reduce stress, and access coping tools during the school day. Funding from the AE Foundation will equip five campuses with sensory and mindfulness-based materials that support emotional regulation, reduce crisis behaviors, and improve student mental health and academic focus.

The BRIDGE Lab Foundation (San Diego, CA) provides culturally grounded, preventative wellness education for AANHPI and BIPOC youth through workshops, storytelling, and peer-led healing spaces. Funding from the AE Foundation will support youth training, creative programming, and stipends that build emotional regulation skills, reduce stigma, and strengthen peer leadership and long-term mental health resilience.

The Unbreakable Organization (Boynton Beach, FL) delivers youth-led, clinically informed mental health workshops that teach coping skills, emotional regulation, and resilience in accessible school and community settings. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand workshop delivery and youth advisory leadership to increase access to mental health education and peer support for more students.


Unearth and Empower Communities (Compton, CA) provides trauma-informed wellness programming for transition-age youth through art therapy, restorative circles, and community-based healing spaces. Funding from the AE Foundation will support a year-long series of facilitated workshops that strengthen emotional regulation, peer connection, and access to culturally responsive mental health support.

Unity Charity (Toronto, CA-ON) provides free, arts-based mental health programs that use hip hop and creative expression to build resilience, belonging, and emotional well-being among underserved youth. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to in-person, virtual, and hybrid workshops that strengthen protective factors like coping skills, peer connection, and self-expression through structured creative programming.

White Bird Clinic (Eugene, OR) provides stigma-free, school-based and community mental health support for youth, including crisis intervention, counseling, and prevention services embedded directly in schools. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand early intervention training and mental health education for youth, caregivers, and educators to strengthen prevention, reduce stigma, and improve access to timely support.

Youth Diversion (Kingston, CA-ON) provides harm-reduction–based substance use and addiction counseling for youth ages 8–17, using individualized, trauma-informed assessments and goal planning to address early substance use and related mental health challenges. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to youth-focused prevention and treatment services in underserved communities to reduce barriers to care and improve long-term behavioral health outcomes.

Asian Community & Cultural Center (Lincoln, NE) supports refugee and immigrant youth by providing culturally responsive academic, social, and emotional development services. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to these programs, helping more students overcome barriers and build confidence, skills, and pathways to success.

Beacon House (Washington, DC) supports middle and high school youth through mentorship, mental health support, and skill-building to help them stay connected and navigate challenges. Funding from the AE Foundation will strengthen these relationship-based programs, expanding support and opportunities for youth to build confidence and pursue positive futures.

Boys & Girls Club of Metro North (Stoneham, MA) supports teens with safe spaces, mentorship, and mental health services to help them thrive. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to on-site counseling, staff training, and youth-centered mental health support for teens in their communities.

Camp Courant Incorporated (Farmington, CT) provides accessible counseling, trauma-informed programming, and resilience support for youth. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand summer mental health services, including licensed counselors, small-group support, and coping skills programming for low-income youth.

Catalyst for Change (Big Timber, MT) provides accessible mental healthcare for youth and young adults facing major barriers like distance, provider shortages, and stigma. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand community-based therapy, crisis support, and telehealth services to ensure consistent, early mental health care for young people ages 5–25.

Detroit Phoenix Center (Detroit, MI) provides culturally rooted mental health, leadership, and healing support for Black youth facing housing instability and systemic barriers. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand youth-led counseling, peer wellness training, and creative healing programs in schools and community spaces.

Doors to Dream (Charleston, SC) provides middle school students with small-group, relationship-based support focused on social-emotional learning, leadership, and mental health. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand trauma-informed, culturally responsive programming that strengthens student well-being, confidence, and connection to trusted adults.

GAAMHA, Inc. (Gardner, MA) provides trauma-informed, animal-assisted mental health support for youth ages 12–24 through counseling and therapeutic farm-based activities. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to care farming, clinical services, and experiential programming that builds coping skills, resilience, and emotional well-being.

Harlem Educational Activities Fund (New York, NY) provides social-emotional learning, counseling support, and peer leadership opportunities for underserved youth. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand mental health services, wellness programming, and family engagement supports that strengthen resilience, coping skills, and emotional well-being.

Housing Up (Washington, DC) provides on-site youth development and mental health support for children and teens living in affordable housing communities. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand trauma-informed after-school, enrichment, and family engagement services that strengthen resilience, academic success, and emotional well-being.

Huckleberry Youth Programs (San Francisco, CA) provide free, trauma-informed mental health, crisis intervention, and counseling services for youth and families. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to therapy, crisis care, and wraparound support that helps young people heal from trauma and build emotional stability.

Iron Sharpens Iron Mentoring (Las Vegas, NV) provides family-centered diversion and mentoring services for youth ages 9–18 at risk of juvenile justice involvement with a focus on behavioral health and life skills. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand structured mentoring, counseling-informed case management, and parent support services that strengthen emotional regulation, reduce risk behaviors, and support positive youth development.

IYG (Indianapolis, IN) provides no-cost, therapist-led mental health support groups for teens and young adults across Indiana using trauma-informed, evidence-based care. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to counseling groups, creative therapy, and wraparound supports that build resilience, emotional regulation, and long-term stability.

KidsVoice (Pittsburgh, PA) provides advocacy and coordinated mental health support for current and former foster youth, helping identify and address behavioral health needs more quickly. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand early evaluation, care coordination, and service navigation to improve access to timely treatment, stabilize placements, and support school success.

Lighthouse Youth & Family Services (Cincinnati, OH) provides trauma-informed mental health and behavioral services for youth and families, including school-based therapy and crisis support. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand school-based counseling and prevention services that reduce barriers to care and improve youth emotional health, safety, and academic success.

Maria Droste Counseling Center (Denver, CO) provides trauma-informed, culturally responsive counseling for youth in schools and community settings. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand school- and community-based therapy, youth engagement, and family support services that improve access to care and strengthen emotional well-being.

Native American Advancement Foundation (Tucson, AZ) provides culturally grounded mental health and wellness support for Native youth in the Tohono O’odham Nation through a blend of evidence-based and Indigenous healing practices. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand trauma-informed, culturally rooted programming that strengthens emotional well-being, identity, and resilience for Native youth in the GuVo District.

Notah Begay III Foundation (Santa Ana Pueblo, NM) serves Native American communities through sports-based physical activity, mentorship, and cultural connection. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to coaching, mentorship, and wellness programming that build resilience, mental well-being, and healthy lifestyle skills for Native youth.

Oasis Center (Nashville, TN) provides affirming mental health services, peer support, and leadership programs for LGBTQ+ youth through counseling, community groups, and creative empowerment activities. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to free therapy, safe spaces, and youth-led programming that strengthen resilience, identity development, and emotional well-being.

one-n-ten (Phoenix, AZ)provides year-round, affirming youth center programming and resources for LGBTQ+ youth, including social activities, basic needs support, education, and wellness services. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand safe, identity-affirming spaces, mentorship, and wraparound supports that reduce isolation and strengthen mental health, resilience, and life skills.

Our House (Little Rock, AR) provides trauma-informed mental health services and after-school support for homeless and near-homeless youth facing housing instability and multiple adverse childhood experiences. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to therapy, group counseling, and social-emotional learning that build resilience, emotional regulation, and long-term stability for youth and families.

Peers Understanding Strategies to Healing (Newark, NJ) supports teens and young adults in strengthening emotional well-being, building coping skills, and developing authentic leadership in a youth-centered, stigma-free environment. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand facilitated peer groups and skill-building activities that increase access to mental health support and strengthen youth resilience, self-awareness, and confidence.

Phoenix Family Resources (Bear, DE) provides youth with creative, mindfulness-based spaces to support emotional wellness, resilience, and healthy coping through journaling, art, and hands-on grounding activities. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand workshops and community engagement that help young people process stress, build coping skills, and strengthen long-term mental health and well-being.

Queer Camp (Fayetteville, AR) provides LGBTQIA+ youth with affirming, community-based spaces that support mental health, identity exploration, and belonging through camps, gatherings, mentorship, and creative programming. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to safe, supportive environments, mental health resources, and peer connections that strengthen resilience, reduce isolation, and build long-term emotional well-being.

ROOTS Young Adult Shelter (Seattle, WA) provides low-barrier, trauma-informed shelter and mental health support for young adults experiencing homelessness, many of whom face complex trauma, discrimination, and barriers to care. Funding from the AE Foundation will strengthen on-site therapy and case management services that connect youth to treatment, stabilize crises, and support pathways to housing, health, and long-term stability.

Sociedad de Educacion y Rehabilitacion (SER) de Puerto Rico, Inc. (San Juan, PR) uses the evidence-based PEERS® curriculum, culturally and linguistically adapted for young adults with autism, to improve social communication, reduce isolation, and support emotional well-being. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to structured social skills training and caregiver-supported coaching that helps participants build relationships, increase independence, and reduce anxiety and depression.

The Brenda Strafford Foundation Ltd. (Calgary, CA-AB) provides trauma-informed counseling, group programming, and supportive housing services for women, youth, and children who have experienced domestic violence. Funding from the AE Foundation will support individualized mental health counseling and culturally responsive programming that builds resilience, emotional healing, and long-term stability for survivors and their families.

The Parenting PATH (Winston-Salem, NC) supports at-risk and court-involved youth and their families through community-based intervention that combines parenting education, youth case management, and experiential skill-building to improve emotional and behavioral health. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand trauma-informed programming like mindfulness, boxing, and family training to strengthen emotional regulation, reduce delinquency, and improve long-term mental health and family stability.

Transformative Justice Project of Colorado (Denver, CO) provides trauma-informed mental health support and basic needs assistance for system-impacted youth navigating the criminal justice system. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand immediate therapeutic services and survival supports to stabilize youth and strengthen long-term healing, education, and community connection.

United Community Center (Milwaukee, WI) provides youth with structured athletic training and mentorship that builds emotional regulation, resilience, and self-worth through disciplined boxing practice and community support. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to coaching, training opportunities, and mentorship so more young people can use sport as a pathway to improved mental health and personal development.

WAYS for Life, Inc. (Melbourne, FL) provides trauma-informed mental health services, including individual therapy, EMDR, and sensory-based regulation support, for foster and homeless youth ages 15–25. Funding from the AE Foundation will expand access to consistent clinical care and therapeutic support to help youth process trauma, stabilize emotionally, and build healthier long-term futures.

Youth Advocates of Sitka (Sitka, AK) provides trauma-informed, culturally responsive residential treatment, mental health care, and wraparound services for youth impacted by abuse, trafficking, homelessness, and systemic trauma. Funding from the AE Foundation will support comprehensive behavioral health services and life skills programming to improve stability, build resilience, and help youth break cycles of victimization.
