I have been seeing stitched details all over the place, and think they look so cool, so decided to try my hand at a little embroidery on my NYC Subway Graphic Tank. If you have been following along, you’ve seen my love for neon is very real, examples here, here and here, so it was an obvious choice when picking colors. It was also cool using an embroidery hoop for the first time, it made the process so much easier and quicker even when free-handing. Read on for the step-by-step tutorial.

Supplies for the Customized NYC Subway Graphic Tank.
What you need:
NYC Subway Graphic Tank
Neon Embroidery Thread
Needle
Embroidery Hoop
Scissors
What to do:

Step One: Gather Supplies

Step Two: Thread your needle with embroidery thread.

Step Four: Start stitching, alternating between a simple running stitch and a zigzag stitch. Knot off each line when done stitching.
