In honor of World Mental Health Day, the AE Foundation is excited to announce our new partnership with Active Minds–extending our reach beyond high schools and into colleges and universities–plus a $150,000 grant!
The youth-led Active Minds movement is changing how we think about, talk about, and support mental health. AE Foundation is enabling Active Minds to equip teens and young adults across the country in their National Chapter Network with the skills, relationships, and resilience needed to lead effective mental health advocacy.
Active Minds Chapters are school-based groups working to serve the needs of their communities and create cultures that are supportive of mental health through policy change, promotion of services, awareness and community-building events, social connection events, and more. Their efforts foster positive social change towards a mentally healthier future.
An investment from the AE Foundation would support a significant evolution in campus mental health advocacy, moving their Chapters from traditional awareness campaigns to sophisticated, student-led systems change work.
