Meet Our AE Foundation™ Community Grant Winners (Summer 2025)

Thanks to AE and our generous customers, the AE Foundation™ is proud to share that we recently awarded $200,000 in AE Foundation™ Community Grants to 37 organizations across the country that are working to support the mental health & well-being of young people to empower authenticity and a better future for all.

Black Girls Mental Health Foundation ensures Black birthing individuals receive culturally responsive, trauma-informed mental health care through therapy, education, and workforce development. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will deliver wellness workshops, reduce stigma, share resources, and refer participants to care.

Lighthouse’s mission is to build equitable communities that alleviate poverty through partnerships with individuals, families, and organizations. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will help improve youth mental health by providing therapy and centering youth leadership to promote healing and emotional well-being.

Mental Health Collaborative builds resilient communities by making mental health education and awareness a priority, aiming to eliminate stigma and ensure mental well-being is valued like physical health. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will help reduce stigma, improve knowledge, and equip communities to better support youth mental health.

Strength to Elevate empowers youth from marginalized communities through mentorship and education that foster personal growth, leadership, and the tools to break generational cycles. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will equip 50+ teens with life skills, mental wellness tools, academic and career readiness, and community engagement to support long-term success.

Unite for HER enriches the health and well-being of those with breast and ovarian cancers by providing integrative therapies, education, and resources. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will help educate over 16,000 youth and families on breast health, nutrition, and self-care, and empower girls to make informed wellness choices.

Minnesota Grizzlies Basketball fosters the growth of high school youth in the Twin Cities through mentorship, mental health awareness, discipline, and a supportive, inclusive environment. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will expand mental health support, provide holistic mentorship, promote positive engagement, and strengthen family involvement.

After-School All-Stars Los Angeles empowers youth to succeed in school and life through free, comprehensive after-school programs that promote academics, health, career exploration, and leadership. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will engage students at Title I schools in weekly wellness, nutrition, social and emotional learning, and physical activities.

The Youth Power Project trains young people to turn lived experience into policy, strategy, and cultural change. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will normalize help-seeking by amplifying peer-led mental health stories, building trust with underserved youth, and creating a representative, youth-driven movement that replaces stigma with openness and connection.

Naseeha’s mission is to provide culturally sensitive, accessible mental health support to underserved youth through prevention, awareness, and crisis response. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will equip youth with mental health tools, build resilience, and foster intercultural dialogue and mentorship to promote empathy, inclusion, and community integration.

Audemy creates fun, accessible, screen-free, AI-powered audio games to help blind and visually impaired teens build essential math, language, and social-emotional skills. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will launch 30 new audio games, reach 5,000 more blind students nationwide, partner with 10 new state schools for the blind, and distribute 500+ offline program USBs to underserved communities.

Mental Health Resources inspires hope and renews resilience in all individuals through supportive and engaging outdoor environments. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will enhance outdoor spaces with seating, shade, exercise equipment, and maintenance to create safe, clean, and welcoming areas that promote physical activity, mental well-being, and community connection for youth.

River Crossing YMCA strengthens communities by offering programs that promote youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility for all. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will support youth in building confidence and authenticity, foster positive relationships, and develop self-reliance through stress management, goal-setting, and healthy decision-making.

PawPADs strengthens lives by fostering healing, growth, and resilience through the human-canine bond, training assistance dogs alongside underserved youth and others for mutual benefit. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will provide at-risk youth with safe, experiential learning that builds emotional wellness, life and job skills, responsibility, and confidence through dog training, while promoting social connection and shifting public stigma.

Colorado Youth for a Change addresses barriers to learning by providing individualized mental health support throughout key stages of students’ educational journeys. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will place 35 Mental Health Navigators in 25 Denver-area schools to deliver personalized mental health support to 700 youth.

City Surf Project provides equitable ocean access to youth, fostering physical and mental well-being, community connection, and a bond with nature. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will aim to serve 400+ youth through 200+ surf outings, with at least 90% of participants connecting to caring adults, 80% overcoming challenges and feeling belonging, and 75% developing a sense of belonging at the beach.

DMAX Foundation strengthens young people’s mental health by creating student-led clubs on college campuses where peers can openly discuss mental health without judgment. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will help host Day of Connection events at 10+ colleges with student leaders, engaging 750+ students in peer support and stigma reduction activities.

Outlast Arts and Education empowers Native youth in South Dakota through media arts, education, and community connection. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will serve 100+ Native youth in filmmaking and media skills, help youth build confidence, academic success, and readiness for college or creative careers.

The Center for Integration and Migrant Support is dedicated to supporting Sub-Saharan African refugee and migrant families in Greater Philadelphia by providing culturally and linguistically responsive services. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will enhance emotional well-being and resilience among Sub-Saharan African migrant and refugee youth through culturally relevant mental health support.

The Wily Network empowers students navigating life independently to thrive at four-year residential colleges and successfully transition into post-college life. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will expand program capacity, maintain steady, intentional growth aimed at serving 210 Scholars by 2032.

The Chaldean Community Foundation works to enhance the stability, health, and well-being of those it serves. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will help  to educate refugee and immigrant families on the importance of mental health.

The San Francisco-Marin Food Bank’s mission is to end hunger in San Francisco and Marin Counties. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will continue to strengthen its current college pantry programs ending hunger among young adults with low incomes who are pursuing higher education.

Arrows of Strength empowers young girls to build confidence, resilience, and leadership through archery. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will help serve 75 girls in the first year, offering over 60 archery and mindfulness sessions, improving emotional well-being by 25%, and establishing sustainable community partnerships.

The Fredericksburg Regional Food Bank unites the Central Rappahannock region to reduce hunger while empowering youth with mental health awareness. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will help reduce stigma, foster peer and adult support networks, and promote emotional well-being.

AIDS United’s mission is to end the HIV epidemic in the U.S and empower BIPOC transgender youth. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will help support participants through mentoring, mental health education, and service-learning projects that foster self-efficacy and community impact.

justUs Mental Health Foundation exists to break the stigma around mental health in Black communities. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will help host workshops and connect Black men with ongoing mental health support to promote emotional well-being and peer connection.

Girl Get Up Society helps women and girls connect mental health to hope, healing, and happiness. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will help expand therapy and coaching, promote self-care and mental health awareness, empower teen girls, enhance workforce development, and organize community events to raise mental health awareness.

The Center for LGBT Health Research at the University of Pittsburgh advances LGBTQ+ health through research, public health practice, and community engagement, aiming to reduce suicide among LGBTQ+ young adults. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will help adapt and pilot two evidence-based suicide prevention interventions delivered via telehealth for LGBTQ+ youth aged 18-24.

The Latinas On the Verge of Excellence (L.O.V.E.) mentoring program empowers young women through mentorship and health education. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will help expand service to more schools and students, strengthen partnerships with the NYC Department of Education, and increase access to holistic, student-centered programming that supports mental health and well-being.

Elevate Tutoring advances social justice by supporting low-income, first-generation college students as Tutor Fellows who provide STEM tutoring and mentorship to underserved K-12 students. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will help increase college graduation and career success for Fellows, deliver thousands of tutoring hours to K-12 students, and expand equitable access to education and career pathways.

Attleboro Norton YMCA is dedicated to fostering personal growth and community well-being through inclusive programs that promote youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will help aim to remove financial barriers for vulnerable youth, provide equitable access to health and fitness, emotional support, mentorship, and tools for coping and community connection.

Found Village transforms foster care conditions to help youth thrive by providing coaching, events, and support networks for young people involved in or at risk of entering the child welfare system. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will help connect youth to trusted adults and peers, promote mental wellness, reduce life disruptions, and foster hope for the future through the Path2Independence program.

SoulMedic Media Group is dedicated to reducing mental health stigma through in-person seminars and providing 24/7 online crisis support via trained SoulMedics. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will help expand school participation, facilitate mental health events, and conduct follow-up initiatives.

Heartstrings Counseling is dedicated to providing compassionate, affordable, and culturally responsive mental health services that support the well-being of youth, teens, and young adults, especially those underserved in California. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will help increase access to therapy, enhance emotional resilience, support families through education, evaluate program effectiveness, and build sustainable community impact.

Children First Center partners with parents and caregivers in northeastern Indiana to provide support, education, and resources that promote the mental health and emotional well-being of children and teens. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will help deliver individualized, trauma-informed therapy to reduce emotional crises, enhance coping skills, and strengthen family dynamics, ensuring young clients are safe, stable, and able to thrive.

Amrita-Seattle is dedicated to serving at-risk and vulnerable youth globally, by providing nutrition, education, healthcare, and holistic support. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will help expand meal programs to address food insecurity, enhance volunteer training to improve youth advocacy, and continuously evaluate program impact to strengthen support for unsheltered youth in King County, Washington.


Bring Change to Mind is committed to ending mental health stigma through evidence-based, student-led programs that empower high school youth. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will help expand program reach, enhance student leadership and collaboration, and increase mental health awareness and support to create inclusive, stigma-free school environments nationwide.

Sportsmen’s Tennis & Enrichment Center is dedicated to building leaders through tennis, academic support, and wellness programs for Boston’s under-resourced youth. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will help increase mental health awareness, engage hundreds of youth in physical and mindfulness activities, and deliver peer-led wellness workshops to reduce stigma and promote well-being.

Indiana Center for Prevention of Youth Abuse and Suicide is committed to ending child sexual abuse and youth suicide by educating communities and creating safer environments. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will help expand the Signs of Suicide program in schools.

Family & Children’s Service aims to connect individuals to hope, healing, and community. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will help at least 85% of youth make measurable progress toward their personalized treatment plans.

LiveGirl empowers diverse girls and young women to become confident, inclusive leaders by providing skills, community, and connections. Funding from the AE Foundation™ will help foster mental wellness, confidence, and social-emotional growth for girls in grades 5-12 through the SHE CARES program.
