Tip # 1: Add a Little Prep
Give your favorite vintage band tee a little love by updating the look with bike shorts and a blazer. Choose comfy high-waisted bike shorts and a blazer in an oversized fit for a laid-back style, then finish the look with Oxfords and a sling bag.
Add even more prep to your step by draping a sweater over your shoulders.
Tip # 2: Go Monochromatic
Update the look of your fave black mock neck t-shirt (a.k.a. your staple layering tee) by wearing it with a button-up corduroy mini skirt and an oversized varsity jacket, plus Chelsea boots and sunglasses.
Keep the top, skirt, and accessories in the same neutral palette for a cool monochromatic vibe.
Tip # 3: Use Color & Prints
