#AEOSTYLE Challenge: Mens’ Printed Shirt

Guys, girls aren’t the only ones who can wear prints! Prints elevate any outfit to the next level and luckily, we have a bevy of exciting prints for you to choose from!  While wearing a printed shirt might be a little bolder than you’re used to (literally and figuratively), you can start by choosing a print that suits your style. With a selection that offers everything from masculine florals to chain links and stars and stripes, whatever you choose, will be an instantaneous conversation starter (hint: cue the ladies) and take your #AEOStyle to the next level.

Menswear blogger Freddy Rodriquez from Blue Perk is never one to shy away from the trendiest pieces for a season. We asked him to style one of our printed shirts. Check out his photos below which were taken in Paris where men push the fashion boundaries to the extreme style limits, and show us how you style your prints with #AEOSTYLE on Twitter, Instagram and Tumblr. You could see your photo on our AE.com Style Gallery or on our blog!

Meet Freddy:
Freddy Rodriguez is the blogger behind the popular menswear site, Blue Perk. The Texas transplant, now a New York based editor, made his way to the city to attend the Fashion Institute of Technology. He enjoys traveling at a moment’s notice and shares his unique perspectives on Twitter and Instagram: @FREDRDGZ.

Keep your pants neutral to keep attention on the print.

Freddy paired our Links Short Sleeve Button Down Shirt with Skinny Khakis and a Denim Jacket for a cool and preppy look.

What inspired Freddy’s look:
With spring in the air, I styled my Links Short Sleeve Button Down Shirt with Skinny Khakis and complimenting blues like my Denim Jacket for warmth and espadrilles to match the warmer weather.

Keep accessories to a minimum to offset the print.

We love the denim on print look.
