Over-sized sweaters have become one of our favorite fashion trends this fall. This cozy, cold weather essential can take your look from day to night by simply mixing up your favorite accessories. Start your look by selecting your favorite over-sized sweater — add flats and a beanie for a more casual look or swap out those pieces with booties, a fedora and a cross-body hand bag for the perfect evening look. Read on to check out three looks we styled to inspire you to wear your over-sized sweaters this season (and next).
The Jogger pant, with a relaxed fit, drawstring waist and cuffed bottom, this is where style and comfort come together. We asked two bloggers, Blair from Love, Blair and Ashlyn from Let It Be Beautiful to style our coolest pant fit for fall, Joggers.
What inspired Blair’s look:
Naturally I’d give into the jogger trend. Cozy, oversized and now acceptable as daywear. The key is hiking them up [a la cropped bottoms] and adding heels for a bit of lounge sophistication.
Blair is a gal that doesn’t like to sit still. Digital gal by day, fashion blogger by night and full-time closet nerd. She’s addicted to Instagram, eats vegan (mostly), is obsessed with almond milk lattes and listens to trance too loud. Give her tomboy threads and anything black, white or gray.
What inspired Ashlyn’s look:
What’s better then running errands in sweat pants and a t-shirt? Running errands in a pair of fashionable and sophisticated sweat pants that make it look like you aren’t wearing sweatpants. These AEO Jogger Pants are a new favorite of mine. I have been wearing them around the house to get work done, as pj’s and even out to run errands. I might even try to dress them up one day soon with a pair of heels and a blouse, so they are pretty versatile if you ask me! To complete my look I added a cute pair of New Balance sneakers & a cozy top. You may or may not catch me wearing these daily!
Ashlyn is a twenty-something currently living in Washington, D.C. with her better half, an English Bulldog, Tinsley. She is a beauty, fashion and lifestyle blogger and part-time graphic designer for Let It Be Beautiful. Let It Be Beautiful was originally created as a personal outlet where she could share her life as a physician assistant student. Quickly, her blog evolved into a place to share her inspiration with others. Let It Be Beautiful offers a daily dose of style, design and prettiness!
