Comfortable jeans are easier to find than ever (hello, flexible stretch), but the real key is finding comfortable jeans that have the look and feel of rigid denim but with even more comfort to keep up with you all day. Blogger Nathaniel James from The Nathaniel Manual styled the AEO 360 Extreme Flex Skinny Jean by adding a suede bomber jacket for a look that’s totally wearable from errands to hanging out with friends but still looks fresh. “My name is Nathaniel James, and I run my own menswear blog (The Nathaniel Manual). I live in Brooklyn and work in Manhattan as a social media marketer & photographer for a marketing firm. I grew up in Connecticut but moved to the city almost 8 years ago to pursue a career in fashion/visual merchandising. Somehow, my career goals ended up melting into my blog & my blog led me to my job today! You can find me snapping pictures down streets or grabbing a bourbon with my friends downtown.”
What Inspired Nathaniel’s Look:
“I styled this pair of jeans with the idea of ease and comfort in mind. I loved how the fit of the jean was extremely stretchy. These jeans were so comfortable, I found myself lounging around the house in them rather than my favorite sweatpants or joggers. With that in mind, I thought, “What would be the easiest thing to throw on if I had to run out of the house right now?” I utilized the classic pairing of a white tee and denim to add as my base. From there, I added white low tops to frame out the denim in white and added a suede baseball jacket/bomber. This helped add contrast while still highlighting the denim. To compliment the overall “sporty-ness” of the whole look, I added a baseball hat. All of these pieces helped contrast the color of the denim to make it pop against black and white. This is an easy go to look that doesn’t require any fuss & anyone can pull off.”
