#AskJenny Question of the Week: What Are the Benefits of a Seamless Sports Bra?

This week, Jenny’s here to tell you all about Aerie’s low-impact sports and yoga bras…because every girl needs a few great sports bras in her wardrobe!

Check out the video below to see fit and style expert Jenny Altman and Kerstyn, Merchandise Manager for Aerie bras, dish on Aerie’s sports bras:

We love the center ruching detail on our soft and comfy seamless sports bra!

Aerie’s seamless sports bras are great for low-impact workouts like yoga (Kerstyn, Merchandise Manager for Aerie bras, loves to wear one for ballet barre class!). Aerie’s sports bras with removable padding are great for avoiding “perky” situations, and offer a little more support.

Jenny’s quick tip? Consider what occasion you’re wearing your bra for. Not all sports bras are the right fit for every occasion, workout or the level of support you need for your cup size. Find a few different styles with multiple levels of coverage and support so you’ll always have the perfect choice on hand.

#AskJenny Question of the Week: Why Do I Need a Full Coverage Bra?

You might be thinking that full coverage bras are just for the larger-chested ladies. But we have Aerie’s fit and style expert, Jenny Altman, and Kerstyn, Merchandise Manager of Aerie bras, here to set the record straight!

Watch below for Jenny and Kerstyn’s tips and tricks on all things full coverage.

Jenny’s take on full coverage? Full coverage bras are really a great t-shirt bra option for girls of all sizes! In fact, it’s your breast shape, rather than your size, that’s the more important factor to consider when deciding what level of coverage is right for you. Full coverage bras, like Aerie’s best selling Sunnie Lightly Lined bra, are especially good choices for girls that are fuller in the top of the breast.

The full coverage Katie Lightly Lined Bra is an Aerie girl’s best friend…and has the 5-star reviews to prove it!

#AskJenny Question of the Week: Pushup Bras for Smaller Cup Sizes

This week, our fit and style expert, Jenny Altman, tackles a bra dilemma we hear time and time again – for smaller chested girls looking for a pushup, what’s the best bra to choose for a natural look? Jenny talks some of her top picks below!

measuring_tape_3

Jenny’s here to with tips to help every girl find her perfect fit!

Q: Hi Jenny! I’ve been trying to find the right Aerie push-up bra for me. I wear a 32A and need a push-up that fits but doesn’t gap. Which Aerie push-ups would you recommend?

A: I love your question! I am also a 32A, and I have had great luck with push-up bras from Aerie. The Ella Gel happens to be my favorite.

You can use our bra guide and sort by size to find all the push-up bras available in size 32A. The best thing is that in our bra guide, you can see bras in your cup size. This feature is so helpful in finding the right amount of coverage and lift for you! Our A-cup model is a real A, so you can see how each bra looks on an A-cup.

Since you know your size, it really is a question of which style bra fits you best (whether it’s push-up bra or not) depending on your breast fullness/shape. Some girls do better with full coverage, others with less. If you are a smaller, or less “full” A, then try a bra with less coverage like a balconette or demi-cup. I think you would like the Charley, Lexi, or the Ella Gel (or the Emma if you’re looking for some serious push!). None of these are too full coverage for a smaller cup size, and they all give great lift.

Also, FYI, any time you wear a bra as a racerback or criss-cross, you get even MORE push-up. So convertible or multi-way options like Charley could be an especially great choice!

Gapping is another problem many girls of all cup sizes may experience with certain bra styles. Luckily, it can also be a super quick fix! Check out Jenny’s pro advice on the blog for all the deets.
