Over the past few weeks, we have been profiling each cast member from the Live Your Life campaign. The blog posts were written & photos were captured by Leanne F., who traveled with the crew during the shoot to document the experience.

Romina wants to be a journalist. She is just about to finish up her broadcast journalism degree at NYU and head out into the real world. Despite Romina’s pretty face, she doesn’t want to be in front of the camera, she wants to be behind it. It’s refreshing to see someone following their dreams that don’t involve being famous.  Romina is a sweetheart, soft spoken and quiet. She let us take over the apartment she shares with a roommate and even offered us coffee  when we arrived.

We started shooting in her cute little room, which was only big enough for a few of us to be in at a time. Afterwards, we headed out to her roof, but it was unreasonably cold. It was springtime in New York, but we all had our winter coats on. It’s extra cold for Romina, considering she moved to NYC from Miami, where she grew up.

Romina had just come into town from Los Angeles that morning, where she was visiting her brother. If she was tired, she certainly wasn’t showing it! But Romina seems like a pretty busy girl in general, so she is used to it. Romina interns at Nylon and Vogue.com, and is studying full time. She likes fashion a lot, especially writing about it and working with it.  She was wearing a really cute dress when we arrived that she found in an old vintage shop in her neighborhood.
