Our friend Ryan, Executive Editor of the fashion blog Cashmere and Tweed, wanted to show us how he pulled off the colored pants trend for men. Read below to learn how Ryan styled his look.

Ryan from Cashmere and Tweed wore the AE Slim Khakis in Forest Green during a recent visit to DETAILS Magazine.

A few days ago I was able to meet with the editor in chief and fashion team of DETAILS Magazine. For my visit, I turned to some classic pieces from American Eagle Outfitters. I started my look with the new AE Slim Khakis in forest green and a white button-down. Adding the AE V-Neck Sweater in heather gray on top made the outfit a subtle color-blocking look. I finished my outfit with a pair of Clark’s Originals.

Fashion isn’t about labels or logos. It is about how you “make it work,” as Project Runway’s Tim Gunn would say. Your style is yours and yours alone. You must own it and be comfortable in it. Every season, American Eagle has great pieces for men and women. It is just a matter of how you style it on yourself.
