How To Wear Flex Cafe And The Cotton Parka With The Sharp Law

At AEO, we’re brewing up a new jean fabrication and it includes an energizing ingredient that over 50% of Americans consume on a daily basis…coffee! We took our revolutionary high performance stretch even further by making it with 2.25 grams of recycled coffee grounds per jean.  Blogger Law from The Sharp Law paired his Flex Cafe back to our parka for fall style. Check out his #AEOSTYLE inspiration below, and wake up & wear the coffee.

Meet Law: The Sharp Law is a Los Angeles based menswear and lifestyle blog.  We cater to the men’s demographic with styling tips and trend forecasts, while showcasing the city we call home.

What Inspired Law’s Look: One of my favorite looks for fall is military inspired.  Army green is a unique color in that it gives off a warm earthy feel, yet maintains a level of sharpness and sophistication – like this American Eagle parka.  Paired with my Café X Skinny Jeans and a simple white tee for a cool, on the go look.

One Sweater, Three Ways: Open Knit Crew Sweater

Every so often a top comes along that you want to wear with everything because it’s just that perfect. That’s how we feel about our Open Knit Crew Sweater. It’s the ultimate seasonal transition piece and a fresh take on a basic cable knit. Plus, the open knit details make it lightweight enough to layer or throw over top of a tank or tee those early fall days when the sun is still blazing (and you’re trying your hardest to make Fall happen!). Check out how we styled one sweater, three ways below.

One Sweater, Three Ways featuring the AEO Open Knit Crew Sweater

Look #1: Weekend Cool
This outfit will carry you from the coffee shop on Saturday morning to your Netflix binge on Sunday night. Keep the look carefree but still put-together by pairing a tapered jogger with your open knit sweater, and finish the look with a classic pair of double buckle sandals.

AEO Cotton Stretch Cami
AEO Double Buckle Sandal

Look #2: Pretty Comfort
A fun twist to Fall outfitting is utilizing your favorite tank dress as a layering tool. We love the way the pattern and colors peek through an open knit sweater, giving you the perfect excuse to squeeze one last wear out of your prettiest Summer dresses. Add a pair of booties to bring a sense of the season to the outfit.

Look #3:Effortlessly Relaxed
Sweaters, plaid button downs, and destroyed denim: if we could only wear those three Fall pieces, we’d be totally fine with it. Keep your look casual and give a nod to the 90’s by tying an unbuttoned plaid shirt around your waist, but pull the outfit into this decade by mixing destructed denim with suede clogs. Don’t forget a layering tank under your sweater!
