AEO Jeans: Behind The Seams

BEHIND THE SEAMS

For the past 40 years, our jeans have been designed exclusively in New York City. Though our denim team is proud to call NYC home, they travel all over the world sourcing materials, researching the latest trends, and finding inspiration for the unique fits and washes they bring to you each season. As part of this process, they partner with a few of the most innovative and forward-thinking denim developers in the industry, collaborating daily across continents with teams dedicated exclusively to AEO jeans.
Once a year, the denim designers venture overseas to visit raw material suppliers, factories, and wash facilities. On their most recent trip, we asked them to snap a few behind the scenes photos. Take a closer look at how each pair of jeans is created.
