With a new season officially in our midst (okay, minus the snow), we’re all about the color white. Going monochrome can be tricky, especially with a color that’s typically taboo in the cooler months. At AEO, we like to ignore that fashion rule and take this look to the next level. Today, we’re showing you how to wear all white without looking like a snowman. Our secret? Accessories! Breaking up a monochrome outfit with fun additions like strappy bralettes, knit beanies & tall boots keep the look on-trend and fresh without feeling overwhelming. Check out our two all white looks below!
Keep it cool in all white #AEOSTYLE: Go for an unexpected look by pairing our destroyed white Tomgirl Jean with a white puffer vest. A long-sleeved tee underneath the vest – in white, of course – keeps the outfit seasonably appropriate. A lacy, strappy bralette adds a feminine touch to the outfit – choose any shade you’d like for a fun pop of color. Our shoe of choice is a Birkenstock since temps are warmer than usual right now, but if you’re stuck in the cold, wear a great cozy sock in a neutral color, too. Channel a snow bunny vibe by finishing the look with a furry, chunky knit beanie.
Channel boho vibes in all white lace: If you’re already sick of Winter (even though it’s just started), try wearing all white to transition into an early Spring. A pretty lace dress with bell sleeves has a romantic feel that’s perfect for a Winter date night. Paired with a statement necklace that won’t overpower the dress, this is an all white style that will land you on the fashion “do” list. Complete the outfit with knee high boots in a neutral color and boho details like lace up details.
