How To: Make Peppermint Bark

If you’re looking for a treat to bring to your next holiday party but you’re running low on time, ingredients, or just want to avoid baking, peppermint bark is a delicious, easy option! You only need a few ingredients, and you can never go wrong with chocolate desserts. The best part of this recipe? You can customize the ingredients depending on your taste, but we highly recommend this coconut, dark chocolate and peppermint combo!

How To: Make Peppermint Bark

1 cup white chocolate chips
¾ cup dark chocolate chips
⅓ cup crushed peppermint candies
⅓ cup shredded coconut
⅓ cup chocolate coconut flakes

How To: Make Peppermint Bark


1] Line a 9 x 3 inch pan with foil and spray lightly with nonstick cooking spray.

2] Place ¾ cup of the white chocolate chips into a bowl, microwave for 30 seconds and stir.

3] Repeat heating and stirring in ten second intervals until the chocolate has melted.

4] Pour the melted chocolate into the pan and place in the fridge for 5 minutes.

How To: Make Peppermint Bark

5] Microwave the dark chocolate chips for 30 seconds and stir.

6] Pour the melted dark chocolate over the white chocolate layer. Place in the fridge for 5 minutes.

7] Melt the remaining white chocolate and pour on top.

8] While the chocolate is still warm, sprinkle on the coconut flakes, peppermint candies and shredded coconut.

9] Place in the freezer until the chocolate is completely set.

10] Once the chocolate is set, remove and break into pieces.
