How To: Make a Peanut Butter & Jelly Smoothie Bowl

Although serving such a convenient breakfast in a bowl may take away from a smoothie’s to-go factor, there are some upsides. Power bowls top the list as some of our all-time favorite meals and make your breakfast more nutritious just by showering it in delicious and healthy toppings.

This smoothie bowl is a spinoff on a childhood fave: the classic PB+J. It’s both a twist to those iconic flavors and an upgrade to the ingredients—so long refined sugars and grains! Stay #inCHAARG of your day by starting your morning with this delicious breakfast.

1/2 cup yogurt (we recommend Greek or coconut yogurt)
1/4 cup vanilla almond milk
1 frozen banana (+ additional for topping)
1 tbsp almond butter or any nut butter
1/3 cup Kind Peanut Butter Whole Grain Clusters
1/3 cup pomegranate seeds
1 tbsp chia seeds

1] Add the yogurt, almond milk, almond butter and frozen banana to a blender and blend until smooth. You want the smoothie bowl to have a thick texture, so we recommend adding the milk a little at a time.

2] Pour the smoothie into a bowl.

3] Top with banana, pomegranate, chia and Kind clusters.
