How to Wear the Jegging Crop with Polka Dots & Sailor Stripes

Summer is nearly upon us and it’s so close to shorts weather we can taste it. Before you break out the shorties, take a moment to appreciate all that is the Hi-Rise Jegging Crop.

Ashley from Polka Dots and Sailor Stripes shows us she wears her favorite style of Hi-Rise Jegging Crop below. Its legging-like fit, destroyed details and release hem make this jegging crop truly one of a kind.

What Inspired Ashley’s Look:
“The truth behind Polka Dots & Sailor Stripes is that when I am not shooting or going anywhere special, I tend to opt for comfort. Generally, to me comfort means my favorite denim, whether it be shorts or pants…and a comfy t-shirt. This pair of denim is the newest addition into my closet, and I cannot believe how comfortable they are. Back in the day I was an avid American Eagle denim junky. It wasn’t until recently that I actually explored back into the store only to find out they have amazing black distressed cutoffs like these ones, and some of the best boyfriend jeans on the market. This particular cut is taking me way back to when the best of both worlds was found in my favorite pair of capris.”

“The nice thing about these pants are the rips – they’re more distressed than most of the pants I own, but the patches behind the rips allow me to still feel 100% comfortable in them. I also love the ‘release hem,’ which adds a bit more interest with the distressed, uneven coloring.”
