This week, I’m showing you how to make a fringe tank with our favorite Soft & Sexy Braided Muscle Tank. What you need: Scissors Ruler Fabric Dye Pen Soft & Sexy Braided Muscle Tank

How to Make a Fringe Tank with I Spy DIY

 

What to do:
Step One: Use your ruler to create guides along the width of the shirt that will indicate the desired length of your fringes. Space the points about a half an inch to an inch apart, depending on your preference. Do this on the front and the back of the shirt.

Step Two: Starting at the hem of the shirt, cut horizontally to these points to create the fringes.

Step Three: Pull the newly cut pieces towards you to create add a curled effect to the fringes.

Step Four: Spray the fringes with your fabric dye of choice. To create an ombré effect, add more dye to the base of the fringes.
