Have you met out our newest dress—The Kate Dress? This dress is fun, flirty and fit to flatter. You can dress it up for a spring wedding or graduation party, but you’ll be sure to turn heads anywhere you go. The Kate Dress is available in both a short sleeve and sleeveless option, both with cutout back details.
Two fashion bloggers, Jenmarie from Style Through Her Eyes and Cheryl from Oh to Be a Muse, each styled our Kate Dress as part of our #AEOSTYLE Challenge. Read below to learn a little more about each girl in her own words, along with their styling tips for the dress. My name is Cheryl and I’m a 20-something Bay Area fashion blogger originally from Jamaica. I spend my downtime playing with my Pomeranian and American Dingo dogs, and my up time playing dress up for local fashion events. My blog is called Oh to Be a Muse because it’s all about being a form of inspiration for my readers, or muses, as I like to call them. When I’m not showcasing my personal style, I like to feature other bloggers and fashion outlets!
When I first saw The Kate Dress, I knew I would love wearing it simply because of the polka dots. Patterned pieces like this amp up your wardrobe and turn a regular item into a stunner. I then noticed the lower back cutout and thought this dress had to be styled in a fun and flirty fashion. So I would call this spring chic and flirty with the added embellishments of a sparkly necklace, headband, booties and dramatic coat. The see-through back of the coat allows you to still get a peek at the cutout on the dress!
Hello! My name is Jenmarie. I’ve been happily married for five years and I write a fashion, beauty and lifestyle blog called Style through Her Eyes (otherwise known as SHE) where I share outfits, beauty tips, favorite things and inspirational pick-me-ups. I also provide personal styling for clients as well. My style inspiration stems mostly from my favorite childhood films where all things feminine, edgy and dramatic became part of my wardrobe.
During the warmer months, I opt for anything that will keep me feeling nice and cool, which obviously means dresses and skirts. Blue is a color that is almost scarce in my closet so it was very refreshing to incorporate this bright Kate Dress which, by the way, is so soft and has the perfect amount of stretch. Polka dots are one of my absolute favorite prints! They’re simple and classy and will never go out of style. I love the way the mustard colored skinny belt looks with the dress.
Whenever I am not working, I like to wear as much color as possible. This outfit made me feel bright and cheery and most definitely portrays my feminine style. I didn’t want the rest of my accessories to take away from the dress and belt combo but rather compliment them in a very subtle way which is why I chose neutral colors.
