DIY: Gift Wrapping

One of the best parts of the holidays are unwrapping gifts. Nothing makes a gift feel more special than a one-of-a-kind wrapping job. You’ve spent hours picking the perfect gifts for everyone in your life and our stylist Anna created two unique gift wrapping ideas to give your hard work the ultimate finishing touch.

Idea 1: Customized Gift Tags

What You’ll Need:

Yarn

Thick white paper

Clear glue

Scissors

Various colors of glitter

Pencil

Scotch tape

Step One:

Gather your materials.

Step One

Step Two:

Put your gift in a box and measure your yarn by wrapping it around your gift box. This will determine how many “ornaments” you will need.

Step Two

Step Three:

Begin drawing various sized circles on the white paper (we traced a nail polish remover cap and a glitter bottle for perfect circles). Make sure to make two circles bigger for the name tags.

Step Four:

Cut out your circles, cover them in an even layer of clear glue and then cover them with glitter. Make sure to leave some space on bigger name tag circles so you can easily write on them.

Step Five:

Once the glitter dries glue your “ornaments” onto the yarn.
